HaXe Book is back ... almost

Hi all,
the users of the mailing list know that Lee has started writing a book about haXe and Neko and that he has asked for help to complete his work. I have taken over his offer and I'll start to actively work on it by the end of this month.

The TOC has already been defined but there is space for improvement. That said I'd like to know your suggestions about what must be in the book or whatever you think is important.

I can say that it will cover almost every aspect of the current documentation and many of the (still) undocumented features.

I'll try to accompany the progress of my work with some blog posts.

Hi!
I have no suggestions yet, because I'm begginer with haXe and I target especially SWF for now.
But I'm very happy to see how fast a book about this wonderful language is written. It will help me, for example, to talk about haXe for people around me and especially at work, because for now, it's just like another "toy" that will die in few monthes :(
I've bought this book yet, it must come around June if I remember.
Anyway, thanks a lot for this book !!! I'm very impatient to get it :)

Hi Franco,
I wonder if it's worth - in an effort to smooth the ground for non-haXe users - including a chapter on conversion/migration from other languages? Notably Actionscript and Java, perhaps C#, perhaps Javascript? You know - 'Quickstart for Java Users' just giving a rundown on the major syntax differences, that sort of thing?

I have been using as2 papervision and am interested in using haxe, can you include a chapter on papervision haxe, as I am sure that would be popular, if I can help I will.
