How about a section for links to other peeps blogs about haxe too. Maybe an blog aggregator like they have in the mono community could be good (http://www.go-mono.com/monologue/)?

Hi,

Is it possible to create any flash application having the facilties of desktop recoding in SWF format through your API or by some other methods.

To blackdog : yes, maybe using a RSS aggregator would be nice.

To Daniel : you can use together SWHX (http://haxe.org/swhx) and haxeVideo (http://code.google.com/p/haxevideo) to perform desktop webcam/microphone recording.

Here comes Apollo... In the following thread on digg I mention Screenweaver HX as a potential OSS alternative:

http://digg.com/tech_news/Adobe_Apollo_Launched_So_Go_Build_Something

I'm new to using haXe and Screenweaver HX even though I've known about them for a while. Maybe someone can post a blog comparing the features of haXe/Screenweaver and Apollo? I think that would be informative. I would digg it. :)

This is cool, haxe surely needed a more frequently update space. Kudos!

Now apollo has been released, (as alpha), and I'm wondering if you know of any advance in porting Screenweaver to linux? It would be cool to put them head to head, but as far as I know, I thing screenweaver will offer far more functionality. I'm currently trying haxe as flash generator and as neko generator. So far, it looks great!

C ya around!.

to blackdog: I did find a irc channel related to haXe at irc.quakenet.org #haXe. There are only 3 of us in there at the moment, but i will idle it for a couple days and hopefully get some more people in there.
