haXe 2.0 Available

After a few months of work, haXe 2.0 is finally available !

This new release include the following changes :

  • haXe/PHP support
  • new haxe.remoting implementation
  • crossplatform I/O and Bytes support
  • optional parameters default value
  • ... and much more

Btw looks like everybody's out on vacation or something at the moment - releasing stuff in midsummer is often tough hehe

I downloaded 2.0, but will probably continue to use the last release as all of my code is tested there. But, that brings me to the question of documentation -- how will documentation and code samples between the two releases be separated? Let's take remoting, I read the entry, sounds like a lot of good stuff is going on in this part of the code, but honestly, I'm not sure how to use it. The samples online are all for 1.x branch, so for now, I have to stick with that.

Hi Nicolas,

We are trying to contact MT for quite some time. Sent few mails (tried to send through you as well) and even a fax. Still no reponse. Did you ever get these mails?

Sorry for bothering here, but that's the last thing before actually flying to Bordeaux to talk...
